Ghana is preparing to conduct its sixth post-independence census. The Census aims to count every person and every structure in Ghana and provide updated information of the socio-economic, demographic and housing conditions of the population.
The information collected from the census will be used to make decisions about our welfare and so everyone must be counted.
From today 13th June to 20th June, expect an enumerator to visit the structure where you live and write a serial number on the walls to identify the structure and ask a few questions about the structure and its occupants.
If by 20th June the structure in which you live or work has not been numbered, call the tollfree census hotline on 0800-426-426.
