Please note the following changes in the arrangements for pre-marital counselling in the church. This new arrangement is being rolled out in all ICGC Assemblies.
1. The period of pre-marital counselling has been reduced from 6 months to 4 months
2. A Mentor-Mentee arrangement has been introduced. Here, members attending the pre-marital classes will also be assigned to older couples who have been trained as mentors.
3. The mentors will support the mentees through the pre-marital stages and also at least one year after the marriage.
4. The pre-marital classes will be held on Sundays after church service and no longer in the evenings.
